Job Title: Sustainable Chemistry Programme Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Chemistry Programme Leader to join our team at The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC). This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of programmes that drive sustainability in chemistry.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and a passion for sustainability. They will be responsible for scoping and prioritising RSC Sustainable Chemistry programmes, working with colleagues to identify and evaluate opportunities, building partnerships with organisations that share our commitment to driving and supporting sustainability in science, and developing effective relationships with our member and journal communities.

This is a contractually based role, initially based at our Cambridge office, but with flexibility to work from home within the UK. You will be expected to attend the office a minimum of two days per week and travel for meetings and events.

We offer a competitive salary range of £43,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
