About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the construction process, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the work of site teams, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete projects efficiently.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within budget and that any variances are identified and addressed promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably with a major contractor or developer.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Project.
- Valid SMSTS certificate and CSCS card.
