Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Climbing Coach to provide a safe and high-quality service at our facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional climbing instructor service while maintaining good operational procedures and relationships with the public.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert instruction and guidance to climbers of all levels.
  • Maintain the climbing wall, including route setting and administration tasks as required.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement media strategies for the Climbing Centre.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive environment that meets the needs of all users.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Demonstrates previous experience working with people and has a strong customer care focus.
  • Possesses qualifications in CWA or SPA and is a confident climber.
  • Has a flexible approach to work and can adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent observational skills to ensure effective management of the climbing wall and its users.
  • Creative and safe route setting experience is essential.
  • Active listening skills enable effective communication and interaction with staff and members of the public.

Estimated Salary: £13.26 per hour
