We are seeking a skilled Field Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Prestwick workshop. As a Field Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting planned maintenance on aircraft ground support equipment and tooling, executing repairs according to a maintenance schedule, and diagnosing and troubleshooting a range of issues, including hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Conducting planned maintenance on aircraft ground support equipment and tooling
  2. Executing repairs according to a maintenance schedule
  3. Proficiently diagnosing and troubleshooting a range of issues, encompassing hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  4. Handling the collection and delivery of customer equipment across our network
  5. Collaborating within a cohesive engineering team
  6. Surveying equipment to identify faults and generating comprehensive reports
  7. Supporting work activities at different airports or UK sites as needed
  8. Liaising effectively with the Operations Team for efficient job execution
Requirements
  1. A positive attitude and proactive approach to tasks
  2. Preferably, a formal engineering or related qualification
  3. Demonstrable experience in a similar role is advantageous
  4. Exceptional customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  7. Proficiency in IT, including MS Office applications
  8. Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels
