About the Job
Driver Hire, a leading specialist Driving Agency in the UK, is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer to join their team based in Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all plant equipment is running smoothly and up to current health & safety standards.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum, plus opportunities for overtime premiums and bonuses. The company offers a contributory pension scheme, employee welfare fund, health & wellness services, and cycle to work scheme.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and repair of plant equipment
- Ensuring equipment meets current health & safety standards
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on site
- Troubleshooting issues with plant equipment
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, applicants must have:
- Proven experience in a pump engineer role
- Relevant mechanical certificates (desirable)
- Good knowledge of plant machinery/hire equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to learn and expand your skills
