Financial Controller Opportunity

A prestigious role for a seasoned finance professional to lead the financial strategy and operations of a thriving UK manufacturer.

The Role

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will oversee all aspects of finance, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will also lead the Finance and IT teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation to achieve excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present financial reports to local management, group, and external stakeholders
  • Develop and implement financial plans, including budgets and forecasts
  • Provide financial expertise and support to business partners across the organization
  • Ensure financial controls and integrity are maintained
  • Perform company secretarial duties
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) finance professional with leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. You should have exposure to both SME and larger corporate environments, with a strong track record of driving business success. You will be a confident and credible leader, able to operate and influence at an executive level.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary up to £80,000pa, a fully expensed car or £13,000 allowance, bonus up to 15%, private medical insurance, life cover, and a pension. You will also receive 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 (plus bank holidays).

This is a fully office-based role, requiring easy commuting distance to Telford. If you are a motivated and experienced manufacturing finance professional, we would love to hear from you.
