About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a skilled Psychological Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Aberbeeg Hospital, a low secure service for men with mental illness. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions, making autonomous clinical decisions, and formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients' mental health needs.

You will work closely with the Lead Psychologist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that address the complex needs of our service users. Your expertise and knowledge in carrying a service user's caseload, including assessing complex needs and designing and delivering specialist psychological treatments, will be invaluable in supporting the care plans of our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a BPS recognized psychology degree, be HCPC registered, and possess Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications. Experience of working with clients with cognitive deficits and conducting research and project work is also essential.
