Social Worker Family Adolescent Support Specialist
4 weeks ago
About the Role:
Warwickshire County Council is seeking a skilled social worker to join the Family Adolescent Support Team (FAST). This permanent, full-time role is based in Nuneaton Justice Centre and involves providing high-quality support to vulnerable teenagers across Warwickshire.
FAST provides services and interventions with families and young people under a Child in Need plan, focusing on extra-familial harm, substance misuse, tier 4 hospital discharges, and 16/17-year-old homelessness. The team also supports young people on the edge of care for these reasons.
You will work within a multi-disciplinary setting, collaborating with professionals like police, safer neighborhood teams, youth workers, and education to promote disruption to contextual risks and increase safety for young people in the community.
As a member of the team, you will have opportunities to work creatively and contribute to the development of the Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme, which has been chosen for Warwickshire.
Our Offer:
- Supportive managers who prioritize wellbeing and workload.
- Full reimbursement of Social Work England annual fee.
- A Volunteering & Wellbeing Day, generous annual leave, and an additional day at Christmas.
- A Refer a Friend package for returning colleagues.
Working for Warwickshire:
Warwickshire County Council values diversity and inclusion, striving to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, included, safe, supported, and welcome. Our people are at the heart of this vision, and we invite you to be a part of it.
We offer a generous pension scheme, agile working, and access to Vivup benefits and discounts platform. Click here to view the benefits at Warwickshire County Council.
