The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, including Deputyship applications, Trust management, and supporting clients with brain injuries and other vulnerabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional to make a significant impact on people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Court of Protection cases, including Welfare Deputyship applications, Personal Injury Trusts, and Statutory Wills.
  • Support vulnerable clients, including those with brain injuries, in managing their property and financial affairs.
  • Work alongside senior members of the department and provide litigation support where necessary.
  • Maintain high professional standards, including compliance with the SRA and Office of the Public Guardian Standards.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to paralegals and more junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or CILEx Legal Executive.
  • Established PQE in Court of Protection, Clinical Negligence, or Wills and Probate law.
  • Experience in handling complex and sensitive cases involving vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and ability to act with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £55,000 per annum.
