About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Floor Layer to join our team at ARC (Norwich) Limited. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to work on domestic maintenance social housing contracts, carrying out general repairs and maintenance in properties across Cambridge and Ipswich and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day jobs allocated by a central team
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are carried out safely and efficiently
  • Promote the client's corporate image and excellent service standard on every resident visit
  • Deal with tenant issues and complaints in a positive and effective manner
  • Make decisions based on specialist experience and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with necessary regulations, standards, and legal responsibilities of repair work and contractor compliance

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum level 2 NVQ or time-served in Floor
  • Experience in other trades such as tiling, plastering, and painting and decorating
  • Asbestos Awareness Training
  • Full UK driving license (manual)
