We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to join our team at Appletree Law in Market Harborough, focusing on Wills and Probate. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to make a meaningful impact in clients' lives by providing comprehensive legal services.

About the Role

This position involves drafting wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney, managing probate applications, administering estates, and providing tailored advice on estate planning, trusts, and tax implications. As a key member of our team, you will liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionals to ensure a smooth process. Staying up-to-date with relevant legislation and best practices is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting complex wills, trusts, and lasting powers of attorney documents
  • Managing probate applications and administering estates efficiently
  • Providing expert advice on estate planning, trusts, and tax implications
  • Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionals to facilitate a seamless process
  • Staying current with relevant legislation and best practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A qualification as a solicitor or legal executive with 3 years PQE in Wills and Probate Law
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to client consultations
  • Strong organisational capabilities and attention to detail
  • A commitment to ensuring client work progresses in a timely manner and clients are informed about progress and costs
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a canteen, company events, company pension, free parking, work-from-home options, flexitime, and a performance bonus.
