About the Role

InCrowd is seeking a highly skilled Junior Systems Administrator to join our operational infrastructure support team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our core technologies, infrastructure, and data security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our Dremio and Snowplow clusters
  • Maintain and administer systems on AWS and locally
  • Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and networks
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Manage user accounts and access levels
  • Assist Data Engineers in implementing processes and procedures for deploying code to Development, Staging, and Production environments
Requirements
  • Recent Computer Science Graduate or equivalent experience in systems administration and IT support
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Time management and prioritization ability
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled at analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • A team player with a willingness to learn
Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of AWS or other cloud hosting platforms
  • Experience in database installation, configuration, or management
  • Some experience in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes
