Are you a skilled administrator with a passion for supporting students and academics in a Higher Education setting? We are seeking a Senior Programme Officer to join our prestigious London University team.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to students, academics, and other stakeholders, ensuring the efficient running of academic programmes. Key responsibilities include coordinating inbox queries, organising calendars, meetings, and agendas, as well as taking minutes when required.

As a Senior Programme Officer, you will be a senior member of the programme administration team, ensuring consistent management and delivery of taught provision. Your duties will include:

  • Confidently supporting the Manager with day-to-day administrative tasks, including inbox management, timetabling, module, and assessment registration
  • Coordinating student enquiries, investigating and resolving complex queries and issues, and triaging and signposting when necessary
  • Liaising with students during the term, including updating student records, modules, and dealing with Mitigating Circumstance Forms (MCFs) and Examination Board processes
  • Assisting with general committee servicing, including calendar invites, agendas, and on occasions producing well-written minutes
  • Supporting events and activities
  • Working flexibly as part of a team, assisting others in times of high-volume activity, and undertaking ad-hoc administrative duties as required to facilitate the smooth running of the department
