About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs, emotional and behavioural challenges.

You will collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. You will also support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
