About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing 24-hour care and support to two young boys who require a nurturing and stable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the children to have the best quality of life possible, including activities such as baking, fun days out, and holidays.
  • Ensure the children's safety and well-being at all times, monitoring their development and updating records as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including family members, social workers, and other professionals.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for the children.

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and resilience, with the ability to work with children who may have experienced trauma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A driving licence, with the ability to drive the children to appointments and activities.
  • Flexibility, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers and weekends.
