Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher to work in our Special Educational Needs schools in Nottingham. This role requires flexibility, effective behaviour management skills and the ability to plan engaging lessons tailored to individual children's needs.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £32,500 per year, with a PAYE payment scheme ensuring you pay the correct level of tax and national insurance. Additionally, we offer professional development advice and support, as well as a referral scheme.

Responsibilities
  • To teach students with special educational needs in a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • To develop and deliver lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • To maintain open communication with internal staff, including the SENCO.
Requirements
  1. A qualified teacher with at least 6 months of experience working with children with special educational needs.
  2. Flexibility to cover classes at short notice due to staff sickness or training.
  3. Effective behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt to different classroom settings.
  4. Good communication skills to interact with internal staff.
