Major Recruitment is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our prestigious nuclear client on numerous long-term projects. Our client, a leading well-known supplier to the UK's nuclear industry and a global presence, is offering exceptional opportunities across the entire nuclear life cycle.

As a contract Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll be taking on a unique and impactful position. This hybrid role is based within our client's office, where they handle everything from decommissioning redundant nuclear facilities and supporting the Continuous at Sea Deterrent to aiding the operation and construction of nuclear power plants. Our client's work is centred around cleaning up the nuclear legacy and creating a future where nuclear energy contributes significantly to security, energy supply, and meeting net-zero goals.

Hybrid: Maximum of 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home. (flexible dependent on the project)

Location: Warrington, Preston or Cumbria based office. (5 hours a week)

Enjoy the security of 12-month rolling contracts that will be refreshed, giving you the opportunity to engage in long term projects.Hybrid Work Model - work from home and in the office when required.Flexible Work Hours: Typically, you'll work from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to adjust your schedule.Weekly Payroll: We understand the importance of timely pay, and you can count on our weekly payroll for payments every Friday.Collaborative Work Environment: Join a team of dedicated professionals who share your unwavering commitment to the field.

Duties of Senior Electrical Engineer:

  1. Manage the delivery of electrical and technical activities, through the application of process, domain knowledge and experience across our projects.
  2. Identify and implement procedures, codes, and standards across Electrical and related teams.
  3. Collaborate on process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and resource utilisation.
  4. Provide technical solutions, documentation, and project support with a focus on meeting deadlines, quality, and budgets.
  5. Make engineering decisions within own sphere of responsibility and delegated authority and act as Technical Authority or Engineering Lead when authorised to do so.

Essential Experience of The Senior Electrical Engineer:

  1. Experience in working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
