Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join our client's team in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial success and risk management of high-end construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Control the overall construction programme and planning, reviewing, and issuing Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
  • Implement and manage standard JCT contracts across multiple high-end construction projects.
  • Manage internal and external site teams, in line with project plans and timescales.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other project partners.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Manage project budgets and financial reports, ensuring accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract management, preferably in the construction or property development industry.
  • Strong understanding of JCT contracts and construction law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, such as MS Project or Asana.
