QC Technician Role at Sika: Advancing Quality Standards

At Sika, we take pride in producing top-notch products that meet the strictest quality standards. Our Research and Development division, home to the UK Quality team, plays a pivotal role in achieving this goal. We're seeking an experienced QC technician to join our team based in locations such as Preston, Leeds, and Redditch.

Your responsibilities will include conducting daily quality control procedures, performing tests on raw materials and products, and documenting results in SAP. Other key tasks involve:

• Collaborating with the Quality team to develop and implement new QC procedures
• Providing input on laboratory equipment to enhance quality control testing
• Maintaining high-quality laboratory standards and ensuring adequate supplies are available
• Supporting colleagues during their absence or providing cover for shifts as needed
• Making informed decisions based on data analysis

As a valued member of our team, you'll enjoy a competitive salary of £42,900 per year, along with benefits such as paid vacation time, company pension contributions, private health insurance, and life insurance. You'll work closely with the existing team at Preston and other members of the Quality team across the UK.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in a quality control or related field, ideally in a manufacturing, R&D, or production environment. Essential skills include:

• Familiarity with MS Office, spreadsheets, databases, and email communication tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
