Bristol, Bristol, United Kingdom University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust Full time

As a valued member of our team, we are looking for a skilled Healthcare Educator to support learners in achieving a positive onboarding experience. This role requires collaboration with clinical assessors, supervisors, line managers, and other key stakeholders to monitor and track learner progression.

The successful candidate will champion clinical skills provision for a diverse group of learners, ensuring that policy and clinical guidelines reflect the scope of practice for clinical learners aligned to the relevant professional standards, proficiencies, and competencies for each programme of learning.

This role involves supporting the Practice Based Learning lead and manager in communication and coordination regarding placement activities, learner programs, and student experiences. The candidate will also be responsible for promoting pre-registration and various training standards, delivering on education strategy objectives, preparing reports, and expanding clinical placement capacity.

We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic candidates as they are under-represented within the Trust. Our Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

As a forward-thinking multi-award-winning Trust and a digital exemplar, we are committed to improving patient care and are proud to deliver excellent care to the people of Bristol, Weston, and beyond.

Our hospitals are spread across Bristol and Weston, offering the best of both worlds - city living within a stone's throw of the countryside or beside the seaside. We aim to recruit and retain a workforce that reflects the rich diversity of the local population at all levels and are committed to designing our services around the needs of individual patients and those around them.
