Polyurethane Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Polyurethane Specialist to join our team at SRG in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead the development of new stabilizer solutions for polyurethanes and slabstock foams.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research and development efforts, focusing on slabstock foams in particular. They will develop new and existing packages to meet customer needs, obtain and review experimental data, and present application data to internal and external clients and customers.

Requirements:
A PhD in synthetic organic or polymer chemistry (or similar) is preferred, along with a minimum BSC/MSC in Chemistry. Proven industrial experience working with polyurethane, flexible slabstock, and/or TPU is essential. The ideal candidate will have good organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
