Job Summary:

Tdm Recruitment is seeking an experienced Strategic Land Manager to join a leading privately owned strategic land promoter in the South East region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing land, developing relationships with land owners and agents, and managing the land acquisition strategy.

About the Role:

  • Manage the land acquisition strategy for the business, identifying and securing high-profile sites in the South East region.
  • Develop and build relationships with land owners and land agents in Surrey, Kent, Berkshire, and the wider Southern Home Counties.
  • Deal with legal and contractual issues during the purchase of land, ensuring smooth transactions and minimizing risks.
  • Appoint and manage external planning consultants to support the land acquisition process.
  • Liaise with existing tenants on current land assets, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified with 6+ years of experience in land buying, preferably in a strategic land promotion or house building environment.
  • Proven track record of acquiring high-profile sites, with a strong network of contacts in the South East region.
  • Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and decision-making authority.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ambitious and money-motivated, with a strong desire to contribute to the company's growth and success.
