About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical/Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering geo-environmental and geotechnical projects, providing technical support, and managing project costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Design and manage geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects for external clients and internal teams.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise at all stages of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with current geotechnical standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee ground investigations, soil and rock logging, and geotechnical analysis and design.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and direct junior staff in the field, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Education: BEng or BSc in Civil, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Typically 5 years of relevant experience, with a good understanding of geology, ground investigation works, engineering geology, and geotechnical and geo-environmental engineering.
  • Professional Development: Registered with a suitable professional body and working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution.
