Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Design Engineer to join our team at Platform Recruitment. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products from concept to launch.

About the Role:

  • Lead the design and development of new products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with the product management team to define product requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews and ensure that all designs meet the company's quality and safety standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our products remain competitive and innovative.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in product design engineering, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong background in injection moulding, NPD, and R&D.
  • Experience with 3D CAD design, preferably Solidworks.
  • Sheet metal manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
