Responsible Instrumentation Specialist

At Venator, we are seeking a highly skilled Responsible Instrumentation Specialist to join our Engineering Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring instrument assets are designed, installed, commissioned, maintained, inspected, and tested in accordance with UK legislative requirements, Venator Engineering standards, and industry best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement a site strategy for excellence in instrument and automation engineering, asset integrity, and asset life plans.
- Assess and develop the competency programme for instrument engineering associates and contractors.
- Collaborate with external services suppliers and the Competent Authority (UK HSE) on technical matters.
- Ensure compliance with instrument and automation engineering standards and approval processes.
- Lead the maintenance, inspection, repair, and operation of Greatham assets in accordance with UK legislation, Venator standards, and industry best practices.
- Provide a professional engineering service to support the improvement, maintenance, and operation of Greatham assets.
