Logistics Coordinator Job Description

Canon is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join its Supply Chain Management team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the overall management and monitoring of Supply Chain logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce logistics forecast reports to ensure accurate and timely completion of Customs entries.
  • Monitor daily inbound shipments to port and warehouses, ensuring action is taken to achieve on-time delivery into the warehouse.
  • Ensure all deliveries from Canon's warehouses to customers are carried out satisfactorily and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Administer all marine insurance claims for Canon UK, including obtaining documentation, logging on the broker system, and ensuring closure of claims.
Requirements:
  • Experience in logistics, preferably with a mix of working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience of working in a Business Operations/Supply Chain environment is desirable.
  • Basic project management skills are desirable.
  • Experience of working with sales performance metrics is desirable.
