Job Title: Care Companion

Location: Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15A

Salary: £16.88 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Care Companion for a mature, retired professional lady living in the Berwick area. As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing domestic assistance and support to our client, including meal preparation, cleaning, and accompanying her on outings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Promptly assist with medication administration as prescribed by our client's healthcare provider
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as washing and drying hair, bathing, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to our client's dietary needs and preferences
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
  • Accompany our client on outings and activities, including driving
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to our client

Requirements:

  • Punctual and reliable with a strong commitment to supporting our client
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect our client's privacy
  • A valid UK driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A caring and compassionate nature with a willingness to learn and adapt
