About the Position

We are seeking a Controller of Group Finance to join our team in Oxfordshire. As a senior finance professional, you will play a critical role in driving financial success and contributing to the growth and development of our diverse group of companies.

The estimated annual turnover is £20m, and we are seeking a senior professional with a strong track record in financial management and leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cash flow, delivering financial reports, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Deliver accurate financial reports and manage cash flow effectively to provide reliable information for decision-making and ensure financial stability.
  • Process Improvement: Simplify financial processes and improve data collection, sharing, and usage. Ensure systems are streamlined and integrated to deliver quality data with optimum efficiency for key figures.
  • Risk Management: Maintain internal controls, oversee audits, and manage regulatory filings to safeguard data and minimise risks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering collaboration, ensuring high performance, and supporting continuity planning to maintain team effectiveness.
