Youth Advisor

About the Job:

This role is a great opportunity for young people aged 16-24 with experience of not being in education, employment or training to make a real difference in Blackpool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with young people and professionals to develop innovative solutions that improve opportunities.
• Develop skills to work effectively with others, building strong relationships and a sense of community.

The Role:

As a Youth Advisor, you will lead change in the Employment and Skills space, employing young people with lived experience to improve the system. You will be supported in developing your skills and working co-productively.

Requirements:

• You must be aged 16-24.
• You must have experience of not being in education, employment or training.
• You must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children/vulnerable adults.

Selection Process:

• We require a satisfactory reference history of at least two years.
• A Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is required.
• Medical clearance is necessary.
• Evidence of any essential qualifications is required.
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK is needed.
