About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Vectis Recruitment. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients' products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop the Quality function.
  • Facilitate Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis activities with other site functions.
  • Lead and manage internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Analyze quality data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills across the organization.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and ensure effective resolution.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience as a Quality Manager or Senior Quality Engineer within the aerospace, automotive, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing quality and business systems.
  • A good understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodology.
  • Proven people leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
