Warehouse Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support one of our clients in Leeds. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of warehouse operators to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Manage and motivate a team of warehouse operators to achieve department targets and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement and maintain housekeeping and safe working practices within the warehouse and yard areas to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
  • Picking and Fulfillment: Assist in the effective picking of orders on an oldest order first basis and ensure all orders are picked in full and on time.
  • Inventory Management: Check computer systems to identify overstock trays and maximize availability and on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report to the Dispatch Planner on any issues with picking or inventory, and request items to be made or manufactured when necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks: Book orders onto delivery notes and 3PL portal, and arrange recycling skips to be emptied on a weekly basis.

This is a Monday to Friday role, 10am-6pm. If you are a motivated and organized individual with experience in warehouse operations, we encourage you to submit your application.
