About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Primary Class Teacher to join our team. As a SEND Primary Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to pupils with profound and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized curricula for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of leaders, teachers, and staff to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of professional development and career progression opportunities for staff.
  • Participate in partnership working with a similar school in Basildon to enhance teaching and learning practices.

About Our School:

We are a school that provides an excellent education to pupils aged between 3 and 19 with severe and profound learning difficulties, many of whom also have autism. Our school delivers an outstanding education across two campuses with some of the highest quality learning environments in the country for pupils with special needs. We strive to create a love of learning in our pupils and prepare them superbly for the future. Our teaching approach builds on what pupils already know and can do, ensuring they reach their full potential.
