Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and apply the principles and statutory processes outlined in the SEN Code of Practice.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory tasks and deadlines.
- Prioritize workloads and manage competing demands.
- Liaise with parents, SEND Casework Officers, health and social care professionals, and educational institutions to ensure seamless support for children and young people.
- Draft high-quality, accessible, and easy-to-understand Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans.
- Attend annual reviews for young people aged 16+ and amend EHC Plans accordingly.
- Interpret complex information from professional assessments and ensure EHC Plans meet legal requirements.
- Identify gaps or discrepancies in reports and contribute to the development of bespoke support plans.
