Carrington West is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.

About the Role: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing subcontract works packages, ensuring compliance with the contract, and minimizing risks. Your expertise will include producing subcontract documentation, negotiating terms and conditions, prices, and programs.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating a safe working environment and managing subcontract works packages.
  • Producing subcontract documentation, negotiating terms and conditions, prices, and programs.
  • Managing change in accordance with the contract, including compensation event quotations.
  • Issuing commercial notices to both the client and subcontractors as required by the contract.
  • Submitting and agreeing monthly applications to the client.
  • Maintaining site records, collaborating with operational and engineering staff.
  • Producing detailed monthly reports and cost value reconciliations (CVR).

About You:

  • A good understanding of standard forms of contract.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: This role is based in Norfolk, United Kingdom, with opportunities for remote work.

Salary Information: The estimated salary range for this position is £65,000-£70,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of the role and the need for a highly skilled professional.
