Your new role at HMP Eastwood Park, a Women's Closed Category Prison in Falfield, South Gloucestershire, is a fantastic opportunity to join the team as a cleaning operative. The prison is run by His Majesty's Prison Service, and your role will involve carrying out general cleaning duties throughout the prison site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vacuuming and mopping floors
  • Emptying bins and cleaning surfaces
  • Tidying and maintaining a clean and safe environment

Shift pattern: Part-time hours (22.5 per week) or full-time hours (37-39 hours per week) available, Monday to Friday.

Your hourly rate will be £13.82 per hour, inclusive of holidays. As a cleaning operative, you will not require any experience, as full training is provided. However, experience would be beneficial, and a good understanding of chemical colour coding (COSHH) is essential.
