Winding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Winding Specialist to join our team at ERIKS. As a Winding Specialist, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of our customers by performing a range of tasks related to electrical motor winding.

• Testing of AC/DC electrical motor winding
• Correct use of burnout techniques
• Detailing of AC/DC motor windings
• Rewinding of same
• Connection and Testing of Windings
• Impregnation and Stoving methods
• Use of specialist tools
• Assistance with other key tasks within the workshop

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a formal training or qualification in winding within a motor environment. You will also need to have experience of both AC and DC winding, although just AC would be considered.

You will be confident in carrying out fitting tasks as well as winding. The safety of you and your colleagues is your priority above all others. You will also need to be able to work well in a team and be able to work on your own under your own initiative.
