Learning Support Assistant for ASD and ADHD Pupils

As a Learning Support Assistant at TimePlan Education, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are seeking an experienced individual who is passionate about education and has a strong background in supporting individuals with SEN.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position working 5 days a week, on-site with children aged 11-18. You will be responsible for providing individualized support to pupils with SEN, assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, engaging pupils in learning activities, and developing relationships with pupils. We require someone who is committed to delivering high-quality support and has experience in de-escalating emotional regulation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing individualized support to pupils with SEN
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Engaging pupils in learning activities and promoting their inclusion
  • Developing relationships with pupils and understanding their therapy goals and aims
Requirements
  • Experience working with children or young adults with SEN
  • Ability to de-escalate emotional regulation and provide emotional support
  • Valid DBS registration or willingness to apply for one
  • Availability for at least 12-39 weeks
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as free SEND workshops and Team Teach Level 1 Training. Our school is located in Barnet, London, and we offer a supportive and nurturing work environment.
