We are seeking an experienced Category Sourcing Specialist to join our client's dynamic buying function in Northamptonshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead category management and sourcing projects, optimise ranges, and drive continuous cost reductions. As a key member of the procurement team, you will have full autonomy to own categories and support strategic business goals.

**Job Description**

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience in a sourcing role, with a proven track record of delivering for internal and external customers. You will be able to influence and challenge thinking and decision-making internally and externally, as well as manage and prioritise customer and internal work demands.

You will also have direct experience with international suppliers and communications, working in multiple different terms. Additionally, you will be able to translate market trends and customer needs into a sourcing brief to tender across multiple suppliers.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience in a sourcing role
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Able to influence and challenge thinking and decision-making internally and externally
  • Direct experience with international suppliers and communications
  • Ability to translate market trends and customer needs into a sourcing brief

**What We Offer**

A market-leading package is on offer for this role, including:

  • Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • 3 days on site, 2 from home
