About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Crime Manager to join our team at Together. As a key member of our Financial Crime Operations Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of financial crime risks and the implementation of robust anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls to mitigate financial crime risks.
  • Manage and allocate workloads to the Financial Crime Operations Team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tasks.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations to senior management on areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of financial crime-related activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Investigate suspicious activity reports (SARs) and provide recommendations to the Designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO) and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in financial crime management, AML/CFT, and risk assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services regulations, including the Money Laundering Regulations and FCA requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Previous experience in people management and team leadership.
