About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Fire Consultant to join our team at Brandon James. As a Fire Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with fire safety and risk assessment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fire risk assessments and provide guidance on compliance with Approved Document B
  • Develop and implement fire strategies for residential, healthcare, education, and commercial projects
  • Undertake fire integrity and compartmentation surveys to identify breaches and propose remedial repairs
  • Review contractors' proposals on construction projects and provide comment on suitability for the intended purpose
  • Collaborate with our team of fire risk assessors and consultants to deliver high-quality services to our clients

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Fire Safety qualification
  • Tier 2 fire risk assessment experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK building legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
