Are you a seasoned tax professional looking for a new challenge? Do you want to work with a prestigious client base and advise individuals and businesses on complex tax queries? We're currently working with a Big 4 accountancy firm in the North who are looking to bring in a strong Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join their private tax function, based in either Manchester or Leeds.
The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering a range of tax advisory services to privately owned businesses, wealthy individuals and families, and private equity portfolios across the UK. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the running of the national practice, supporting corporate and private client tax queries.
- Working on a diverse range of tax advisory projects, dealing with well-known businesses and individuals across the UK.
- Supervising and coaching junior members of staff, working closely with Directors and Partners.
- Maintaining a high level of tax knowledge, both in the UK and internationally.
- Managing key stakeholders within the firm and handling key client engagements.

What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a Practice-trained UK tax professional (ACA/ACCA/CTA) with experience working with privately owned businesses, business owners, families and private equity. You'll need to have proven experience managing teams and be able to build long-lasting relationships with clients. Strong report writing skills and sound general accounting knowledge are also essential.
