Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a special interest in paediatrics and will work in partnership with the team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust (PHU).

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000-£100,000 per annum.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a Consultant-led service with the highest standard of care. This includes working with colleagues to provide a comprehensive ENT service, offering educational and clinical support to nursing colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team, and ensuring appropriate information is made available to staff to measure clinical performance.

  • Provide cover as an ENT surgeon with a special interest in paediatrics.
  • Provide an out-of-hours on-call service (1:4).
  • Teach and train staff in other medical disciplines, nursing, and support staff as appropriate.
