Job Title: Carpenter Specialist

Are you a skilled joiner with experience in industrial joinery? Morson Talent is seeking a Carpenter Specialist to join our team on behalf of one of our clients in the shipbuilding industry. The contract is initially 12 months with a strong likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate, assemble, install, or repair wooden or composite items to standard
• Use fixed and portable woodworking machines
• Understand relevant trade drawings
• Cut & fit dampa ceiling tiles
• Install ceiling framework & tiles
• Frame out dexion angle, fit dexion frames, cut & fit alucore panels & collar iwo cut outs
• Mark off, cut & install bulkhead linings/channels
• Cut & fit alucore bulkheads

Shift Patterns:
Shifts can vary and you must be flexible. Predominant shift patterns are 3 on 4 off and nights: 3 on 4 off - Locals: £23.28 PAYE Non locals: £31.28 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)
Nights - Locals: £25.80 PAYE Non locals: £33.80 PAYE (Umbrella rates also available)

Requirements:
You will need to live 40 miles or more to be classed as a non local. Full rate card available on request. These are immediate starts subject to gaining full security clearance.
