Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery of materials to meet production requirements.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Key responsibilities include scheduling material deliveries, managing lead times, and identifying mitigation actions to prevent project delays.

  • Schedule the supply of materials/components to meet production and project requirements, managing lead time, in line with customer demand, activity identifying mitigation actions and preventative measures to ensure project effectiveness.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for material delivery from supplier to point of delivery.

You will also work closely with our operations and procurement teams to deliver each individual project on time and in line with project timing scope.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive delivery professional who can drive benefits and efficiencies for the client and our organization.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
