The National Farmers Union is looking for an experienced professional to join their operations team as a Farming Industry Liaison Manager.

This role involves developing and implementing strategies to promote the interests of NFU members at a local level. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience of farming businesses, agricultural policy, and supply chain management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with local farmers, growers, and food producers to understand their needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote the interests of NFU members at a local level.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services to members.
  • Provide support and guidance to local NFU Group Secretaries on member engagement activities.
  • Promote NFU's work and influence decision-makers on key issues affecting the farming industry.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £41,000 per annum, plus car allowance or company car.
