About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Town Planner to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in providing expert planning advice to our clients, working closely with our internal acquisitions and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic planning advice to clients on a wide range of projects, including site acquisition and development.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of planning services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including planning consultants and local authorities.
  • Manage and mentor junior planners to ensure their professional development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and policy, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK planning, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality planning advice.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Member of the Royal Institute of Town Planners (RITP) or equivalent.
