Our client, a leading services company in the gas infrastructure industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee quality assurance and control for mains gas infrastructure replacement and maintenance projects. This role involves conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards, implementing and overseeing Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for welding activities, and ensuring all QA/QC procedures are adhered to across various project sites. The position offers remote working with site visits around the South West and East Midlands. Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Implementing and overseeing Inspection Test Plans (ITP) for welding activities
• Ensuring all QA/QC procedures are adhered to across various project sites
• Collaborating with project teams to maintain project quality and safety
• Identifying and resolving any quality-related issues or discrepancies
• Documenting and reporting findings from site inspections
• Providing guidance and support to on-site teams regarding quality assurance

Job Requirements:

• Experience in quality assurance and quality control within the oil & gas sector
• Strong knowledge and understanding of mains gas infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in conducting site inspections and implementing ITP for welding
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both remotely and on-site
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related discipline
