Role Overview:

QBE Insurance is currently recruiting for a Senior Data Analytics Manager – Group Internal Audit to join its well-established internal audit team in the London office. In this role, you will lead the development of the audit data analytics strategy, integrating data analytics methods into internal audit processes and providing guidance and support to non-DA specialists. You will collaborate with internal and external data analytics specialist resources to deliver the plan, enhancing audit quality and efficiency through innovative data analysis techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data analytics strategy for the GIA function, aligning with organizational objectives and audit standards.
  • Promote the adoption of data analytics tools and methodologies, ensuring the GIA function remains up to date with current innovations in audit practices.
  • Develop guidelines and frameworks for the usage of data analytics tools, ensuring consistent, efficient, and compliant practices across the GIA function.
  • Establish standards for data acquisition, handling, and management, ensuring data integrity, security, and adherence to regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Enhance the department's data analytics capabilities, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with best practices.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in data analysis and management, with a background in leading data analytics teams and using data analytics tools, software, and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills capable of building relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of management.
  • Dedicated to continuous learning and development, both for self and for the team, in the evolving field of data analytics.
