The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter Multi to join our team at Fortem Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance to Social Housing properties, ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with minimal supervision.

The Project

You will take ownership of work, aiming for a 'First time Fix' on all jobs, while remaining within budget and time parameters. You will operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.

Essential and Desirable Criteria

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • NVQ/qualifications in relation to relevant trade (Carpentry) as per Fortem's minimum qualifications or qualified by experience
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • The ability to complete tasks off their own self-motivation with a can-do attitude
  • Experience in the following:
    • Door hanging/repair
    • Kitchen fitting/overhaul
    • Timber replacement
    • Skirtings and architraves
    • Floor laying
  • Secondary trade skills would be beneficial, e.g., painting, tiling, vinyl floor fitting, and anti-mould treatments
