Senior Reliability Engineer

E3 Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Engineer to join a leading Chemical company based in the Blackpool area. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of between £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, supported by an excellent benefits package.

About the Role:

The Senior Reliability Engineer will be part of a globally recognized chemical manufacturer, striving to deliver transformational and sustainable solutions across various industries. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing systems to enhance safety, asset availability, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify performance improvements and losses of existing plant assets, with a focus on achieving world-class OEE targets.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to core operations and maintenance teams to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze operational data to recommend best practices, propose methods to reduce lost production, and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement systems, procedures, and methodologies to boost asset availability and reduce downtime.
  • Lead root cause analysis of major component failures, implementing changes to prevent recurrence and ensure asset reliability.
  • Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on existing assets to identify weaknesses and opportunities to eliminate potential failures.
